Our Family Business

A small family farming business that has been established for over 109 years. We pride ourselves on providing an efficient and friendly service with honesty, customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

Most of the straw we sell is baled by ourselves locally and barn stored for delivery in the Autumn and Winter months. We supply straw from our own and local farms in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Predominantly an arable cropping area with an average rainfall of around 25 inches, it is well suited to producing clean and dry straw in an average season.

Our baler is fitted with a moisture meter and the lorry is equipped with a hand held probe on board. By baling, carting, and storing the straw ourselves we have the right formula for supplying a high quality product for our customers and businesses in South Devon, Wales, and the West Country.
